The draw for the first and second qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League took place in Nyon. Georgian champions Dinamo Tbilisi will enter the competition in the second qualifying round, where they will face the winner from the first-round tie between Alashkert of Armenia and FC Santa Coloma of Andorra. The first leg will take place at the Dinamo Arena on 12 or13 July, with the return leg set for 19 or 20 July.
Three clubs will be representing Georgia in the first qualifying round of the Europa League. Last season’s second-placed team FC Samtredia will face Qabala of Azerbaijan, while Dila Gori will also face a short trip to neighbouring Armenia, having been paired up with Shirak Gyumri. Finally, Chikhura Sachkhere will have Zimbru Chisinau of Moldova to negotiate. The first qualifying round games will take place on30 June and 7 July.
