The European U19 Football Championship will take place in four locations of Georgia: inTbilisi on two stadia, in Gori, Mtskheta and Rustavi on one stadium respectively. So, all five stadia will be renovated in accordance with the modern EURO standards. We will have five football areas in Georgia which will meet the UEFA requirements and it is quite a great deal for such a small country as Georgia is. The UEFA criteria include not only renovation of pitches and stands but also access roads, lightening, drainage system, individual seats, comfortable dressing rooms, rooms for referees, media centers, parking, back offices, VIP boxes etc. In other words, in two years our fans, football players, referees and journalists will have a modern and convenient infrastructure which our football world will surely enjoy. European standards create a festive atmosphere. It is quite natural for a human being to love comfort and well attended areas and availability of the developed infrastructure is a very essential and vital matter for any country. It is good that they have been building a lot lately and we will have to do even more in the years to come. The BASA complex construction has been coming to its end and in Rustavi we are rapidly building the GFF Football Academy where our youth players will have excellent conditions for training as their peers in Spain or Italy have. It is an outstanding achievement for a small Georgia. Unfortunately, there are some people who show their dissatisfaction instead of gratitude. We must remember that football is our common beloved game and the infrastructure we build today will be used by our future younger generations. It is too bad that sometimes we must explain quite obvious things to certain individuals, but, we are doing a real work and five stadia will be built anyway for the welfare of Georgian football.
