Head of GFF Refereeing Department Cüneyt Çakir took part in the UEFA refereeing talent and mentoring programme in Nyon on 29-31 August.
During the programme, Mr. Çakir acted as mentor for Norwegian and Austrian referees. FIFA Category 2 referee Goga Kikacheishvili from Georgia was also involved in the programme, taking part in video tests and completing a test on rules of the game.
All participants underwent medical examination and several preventive tests. During the one-year programme, Goga Kikacheishvili will be mentored by former referee Milorad Mazic.
Another Georgian referee, FIFA Category 1 referee Giorgi Kruashvili, will attend a UEFA seminar in Nyon.
