Georgian National Team Squad for the Games vs Lithuania and Estonia

The Georgian national football team will begin preparations for this year’s first friendly matches on 19 March. Head coach Vladimir Weiss has called up 23 players for the encounters against Lithuania and Estonia. The 18 year old AA Ghent midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze received his first call-up, while another prospective debutant – FC Rustavi’s Levan Gegechkori – had to pull out of the squad because of injury.

A further 10 players are being considered by the head coach as part of the extended squad:

The Georgian national team will face Lithuania on 24 March, and Estonia on 27 March. Both matches will kick off at 19:00 local time at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium. Entrance will be free of charge.
