European Championship Trophy Tour Concludes in Tbilisi

On the eve of the UEFA European U-21 Championship kick-off, Tbilisi hosted a memorable football-themed event. Having travelled through the host cities of Kutaisi and Batumi with the convoy of the local sponsor Coca-Cola, the tournament trophy arrived at the final stop of the tour – Dedaena Garden in Tbilisi.

Throughout the day, various activities took place in Dedaena Garden, where catering and entertainment spaces were also arranged. Fans had the opportunity to take part in different football-related activities and competitions. The tournament trophy later appeared in the Dedaena Bar. 

Fans gathered in Dedaena Garden were addressed by GFF General Secretary David Mujiri and the Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze. The event was also attended by UEFA representatives.

From 22:45, fans had the opportunity to watch the match between Scotland and Georgia on a large screen in Dedaena Garden. The event was organised with the support of Tbilisi City Hall and the Georgian Public Broadcaster.

Georgia is co-hosting the European U-21 Championship with Romania from 21 June until 8 July. Matches will take place in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the following link: under21tickets.ge
